Our History

Joyful Again! was created in 1986 in order to address the specific needs of those who had lost a spouse through death.Since its inception in the Chicago area, this program has spread to other parts of Illinois, as well as to several states nationwide.Over 6,000 persons have participated in the program; many have returned for training and now serve as ongoing facilitators.Joyful Again! is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization.

We are members of the National Association of Family Life Ministries, and the National Catholic Ministry to the Bereaved.
